Scrub Check - LEB8 Migration

The also introduced migrations of existing minipools to LEB8 minipools. During a 12 hour scrub period the oDAO confirms that:

  • the validator is pending or actively staking

  • the beacon chain balance is at least 31.99 ETH

The oDAO is neeed for this, because the execution layer does not have access to validator status and balance currently.

Trust introduced here is low. An incorrect scrubbing only leads to wasted gas for the node operator.

This duty provides convenience and efficiency and in that sense is not strictly necessary. Node Operators can convert legacy minipools to LEB8 without oDAO involvement by exiting the old minipools and creating new ones. Analogous to , it might make sense to simply sunset this migration path once removal of oDAO is possible.
